Want to show us your fighting spirit off the mat? You can sign up as a volunteer! 

Here’s what you need to know to get started as a volunteer umpire for the Autumn Championships!

Please note our deadline to complete these steps is 10th November 2024.

Steps to Volunteer:

1.    Fill in Interest Form Below!
 

2.    Sign Up for a BSTF Account:
Head to the BSTF site, make an account here, and choose the correct pass type. 
If you’re definitely planning to compete later this year, get the Athlete pass for your class; otherwise if you’re not 100% sure, go with the £1.99 General pass ( you can always upgrade later)

3.    Take the Short Online Umpire Test:
It's super easy, essentially walking through your role on the day, and you can retake if needed. Access the test under the Exams tab in your account - more info and links here!

4.    Register as an L4 Trainee Umpire:
Go to the BSTF Registration Portal here and sign up as an L4 Trainee Umpire for the Autumn championships!
 

5. Let us know you're fully signed up:
Drop us a message so we know to expect you!

5.    On the Day of the Comp:
o    Be sure to arrive in the morning for accreditation and a quick briefing, and be prepared to stay for the full day. We’ll all travel back together after the comp – we wont leave you behind!
o    Feel free to ask some of our previous volunteers any questions – Riya, Rae and Salim all volunteered last year!
o    Dress code: sport shoes, black trousers, and a yellow vest provided at the event.
